Who we are

This website is operated by Motor Trade Tools Ltd (Company No. NI630180, registered in Northern Ireland). Registered office: 211 Moira Road, County Antrim, Lisburn, BT28 2SN, United Kingdom. Contact: +44 7811 337177, info@motortradetools.com.

1. These terms and other documents

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern: (a) your use of our website; and (b) the sale of goods and related services to you, together with the information shown to you at checkout and on your order confirmation. They work alongside our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Returns and Shipping policies, Payment information, and Service policy, which are part of the overall terms on which you deal with us.

2. Use of the website

You may use the site to browse, search, and place orders in line with these Terms. You must not misuse the site (for example, by introducing viruses, scraping in breach of our rights, or attempting to obtain data you are not entitled to). Product images and descriptions are for information; the binding details for a purchase are those in your basket and on the order confirmation, including any specifications we confirm in writing with you (for special or non-standard items).

3. Product information, price, and availability

We aim to list prices and availability accurately. We may correct errors, withdraw products, or refuse an order in line with the law. If an error in price or description is clear and you could reasonably be expected to have known it was a mistake, we will contact you before the contract is final. Prices include VAT at the rate applicable at the date of the order, unless we show otherwise. Delivery options and costs are as shown at checkout and in our Shipping Policy.

4. The contract, payment, and online checkout

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. We accept the order when we confirm it to you (for example, by a confirmation page or email). We take payment through our online checkout partner (see Payment Policy and Privacy Policy for how card data is handled). Standard consumer rights in the United Kingdom, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, apply to qualifying customers and transactions where they apply. Nothing in these Terms reduces those rights where the law does not allow us to do so.

5. Delivery, risk, and title

Delivery, insurance in transit, and any export rules are as set out in the order and our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods usually passes to you in line with the carrier terms we tell you. Title remains with us until we have received payment in full, where that is our usual business practice and permitted by law.

6. Warranties, returns, and repairs

Warranty, consumer guarantees, and returns are as described on the product page, your paperwork, and our Returns Policy. Services such as repairs, restorations, and training are as described in our Service Policy and any separate agreement we send you for that job.

7. Limitation of liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the site or the supply of goods except as required by law. The site is provided “as is”; we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Governing law and complaints

These Terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland (or the law of the United Kingdom as applied there), unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence says otherwise. If you are unhappy with a product or our service, please contact us first so we can try to put things right. You may also have rights to use alternative dispute resolution; we will point you to appropriate schemes on request as they apply to our sector.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. We do not intend to change terms for an order you have already paid for without your agreement, where the law requires that.
